Wodwo, the Grave-Tender of Hollow Roots - The Realm of TAoS

Long before men built walls and forgot the taste of rain, the Wodwo walked among them — neither beast nor kin, but something older. When the forests were burned and the rivers blackened, it did not rage; it remembered. Now it shuffles through what remains, gathering bones like fallen fruit, setting them gently into the soil beneath its careworn claws.

It hums to the dead, a rasping lullaby of bark and breath. Moss grows where it lingers, and even the worms seem to listen. Some call it a monster, others a saint of the forgotten earth. It never corrects them. It only keeps digging.
