TSH: Exalted Praetor Ophidion

Sclerite Hegemony: Exalted Praetor - Ophidian The Ophidian shares the Centaurion's standing as an Exalted Praetor, but operates at the opposite end of the battlefield. Its serpentine lower body gives it the mobility to navigate around an engagement entirely, bringing it into contact not with exposed flanks but with the heavily defended ones. The side an enemy considers secure. The artillery position. The armored anchor unit that was never expected to face a direct threat. Conventional flanking units are built to exploit weakness. The Ophidian is built to attack strength. It carries enough raw power to tear through hardened targets that lighter flankers cannot threaten, and it approaches from the direction that most opposing commanders stop watching once the main engagement begins. By the time it has worked around to its target, repositioning is no longer an option for them. Role: Heavy flanking specialist targeting armored and high-priority battlefield positions.
